Ferretti Group Shows Power: The Result of the First Quarter
Ferretti Group ends the first quarter of 2021 reporting a powerful growth on both economic and industrial fronts. Compared with the same period in 2020, first quarter revenues rose 40%, from EUR 133 million to EUR 186 million. New orders, as of today, total over EUR 300 million, a value that represents 56% of the entire 2020 order intake. From an industrial perspective, Ferretti Group reported a record number of launches: 56 yachts and superyachts launched in three months against 43 in 2020. Almost all the Group’s shipyards and main brands contributed to this record with iconic models in the world of international yachting like Riva 50 METRI Fifty, the new Ferretti Yacht 1000 and Navetta 30 Custom Line.Riva 50 Metri FiftyThe first quarter of 2021 also saw the sale of the forty-eighth Wally full custom sailing superyacht, the first unit sold since the brand became part of Ferretti Group. “Record-breaking first-quarter EBITDA and equally extraordinary new order growth – including an extremely significant order for a large Wally sailing yacht – tell the story of a Ferretti Group with the wind in its sails and everything points to a very positive 2021”, said Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group CEO. “The launches are like the dates of a successful show, because this record number in just three months attests to the huge appreciation our boats enjoy and the strength of our production strategies. The 35.1m Motor Yacht Paradigm Has Been Sold
Northrop & Johnson has announced the sale of the 35.1m Benetti yacht Paradigm by Yacht Brokers. A member of popular Benetti 115 series, she was launched in 1998. She has a tri-deck arrangement, which provides an exceptional interior volume and abundant deck space.Ten guests are comfortably accommodated aboard Paradigm in five cabins, including a full-beam master stateroom located on the main deck. All staterooms aboard feature en-suite bathroom facilities and top-quality finishing. Six professional crew members run motor yacht Paradigm, ensuring the yacht is in exemplary condition.Paradigm has the elegant timeless interior. Large windows are found throughout the main deck, providing abundant natural light. The yacht’s main salon, located aft on the main deck, features comfortable, sumptuous furnishings and high-gloss woods that create a beautiful aesthetic. Forward of the main salon is a full bar that separates it from the formal dining table. Paradigm also has a delightful sky lounge with a full bar, lounge seating, a piano and an entertainment system.The on-deck spaces feature an ideal layout for socializing and relaxing. Alfresco dining is found on both the main deck and upper deck aft. The sundeck is outfitted with a variety of spaces for lounging in the sun. It also features a full bar, a barbecue and a jacuzzi. Southern Wind Has Launched the 32m Sailing Yacht Taniwha
The sailing yacht Taniwha (SW105 GT), a smart custom yacht with a strong character, was christened in Cape Town.Her deck configuration and exterior and interior design were by Nauta Design.“This new deck design has an innovative and clean look that is driven by composite construction and racing yacht styling. We think that our GT design will be a successful new style because it rests on a solid base of concepts which are the expression of a pure design,” says Massimo Gino from Nauta Design.The naval architecture was made by Farr Yacht Design. SW105 GT has a full carbon hull with her foredeck and cockpit in Nomex and pre-preg. Lightweight and with a generous sail plan, the yacht has a mast and boom in high modulus carbon and EC6 standing rigging.The interiors feature Southern Wind’s most popular owner’s cabin forward. Aft of the saloon, she has two cabins, an en suite VIP cabin with a walk-around bed and a second en suite twin a guest cabin. “The interior design is 100% new. It’s the result of a well-planned mixture of materials and geometries that we have developed on our most recent yachts. It’s elegant and understated but never predictable,” adds Massimo Gino.Taniwha is now ready for sea trials before the yacht leaves Cape Town. The Sunreef 70 Ginette was launched recently. Ginette has refined interior design, supreme comfort and reliable performance.She can accommodate up to eight guests. The master suite has a king-size bed with a tufted backrest, a vanity and an elegant ensuite bathroom. The starboard hull houses a VIP cabin with a walk-in dressing and desk as well as a guest stateroom with a convertible twin bed.The bespoke décor is contemporary and classic with numerous velvet and brass accents. All the bathroom fittings are matt black in order to match the classic black and white floor tiling.With nearly 11m of beam, the Sunreef 70 boasts a spacious stern cockpit with plenty of space for dining, a barbecue and bar as well as a hydraulic swim platform. Accessed from the main saloon, the bow terrace features big sun pads, a sunken lounging space and clever diving gear storage. Ginette’s flybridge was given an open layout with oversized sun pads and a large u-shaped sofa.Sunreef Yachts was founded by Francis Lapp in 2002 in Gdansk, Poland. Damen Yachting Has Launched the Support Vessel Time Off
The support vessel Time Off has been launched at the Damen yard in Antalya. She is the ninth hull of the popular 55m YS 5009 design. Like her predecessor Gene Chaser, Time Off has a large multipurpose main deck hangar which is technically ready for stern A-frame installation and allows for a flexible deck layout.
