African Cat Sold
Camper and Nicholsons has sold the Mangusta 130 African Cat.With Brokers Benjamin Bensahel of Camper and Nicholsons and Ed Dickinson of Northrop and Johnson representing the seller and Broker Peter Hürzeler of Ocean Independence representing the buyer, the sale was concluded after only 43 days on the market.Before the sale African Cat had one owner and had never been chartered. The yacht was delivered in 2007 and has an exceptional condition, with low engine hours and a history of only light private use.Credits: Camper and Nicholsons
Antonini Navi Makes Its Debut At The Cannes Yachting Festival
Antonini Navi makes its debut at the French boat show, held next September 7 to 12. The large stand will welcome visitors who want to learn more about the now famous Utility Platform UP40 project, showcasing scale models of the Crossover, Island and Explore versions born from the creativity of multiple-award winning architect and designer Fulvio De Simoni, based on the approximately 40-meter modular steel platform now under construction at the company’s La Spezia shipyard.OPV 56UP40 Explorer On show at the stand there will also be a scale model of the brand’s latest model, the new Offshore Patrol Vessel (O.P.V.), a 56m yacht under 500 GT. 65m Resilience Launched by ISA
ISA Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has launched the elegant classic yacht Resilience. With her 1400 GT, 65m Resilience has been superbly designed by Enrico Gobbi of Team for Design who also developed the interiors. The steel hull is combined to an aluminum superstructure and her layout has six cabins (plus a seventh convertible) including a full-beam owner's suite located forward on the main deck. Modern clean line furniture has been selected to interact with the outdoors in perfect harmony.Two swimming pools (one with a countercurrent swimming system), gym, massage room with sea view, Turkish bath, outdoor cinema room, two jet skis and two tenders, are just a few of the chosen amenities on board this jewel of the sea.“M/Y Resilience is a project in which we have invested a lot and which fills us with enormous pride. Seventh Unit of CLB7 Is Ready for Delivery
The first CLB72 was launched in 2019 and has rapidly become one of the fastest-selling models in the CL Yachts stable. Construction is now complete on the seventh unit of CLB72, and the yacht builder is preparing her for delivery to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Of the five already sold, four were delivered to clients in the USA and one in Hong Kong. CL Yachts has introduced sliding windows in the galley and, for the first time, fully opening up-down electric windows in the adjacent saloon, providing an inside-outside feel to the main deck’s open-plan interior so guests feel at one with the surroundings. The four guest cabins on the lower deck also benefit from improved natural ventilation thanks to the introduction of opening port lights.Up top, the expansive flybridge now offers an electric grill and enhanced L-shaped seating arrangement under the shade of the hardtop to ensure guests enjoy alfresco cooking and dining in fun, convivial ways.CLB72 has world-class engineering and RINA-certified composite hull construction. Working with celebrated naval architect Howard Apollonio and leading marine structural engineering firm Gurit, CLB72 offers agile and uncompromising performance. As standard, the yacht is powered by optional twin Volvo Penta IPS 1050 engines for a top speed of 27 knots alongside a highly efficient fuel consumption rate. Yacht Design and Innovation Hub Will Open at the Monaco Yacht Show
Organisers of the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show have revealed that the visitors will discover the Yacht Design and Innovation Hub, a brand-new exhibition area dedicated to design and innovative solutions in superyachting. The MYS organisers aim at enhancing the first-time superyacht experience of the new generation of customers who plan to build their future yacht and give them the opportunity to meet with superyacht designers and naval architects.During the show’s four days, designers will hold 15-minute talks about, obviously, design in yachting and also about their experience or projects.The Yacht Design and Innovation Hub is part of the new programme developed by the MYS Organisers to offer a bespoke experience of unparalleled prestige to future superyacht charterers and owners in visit to the Monaco Yacht Show.​​​​​​​Located on virage Louis Chiron in Port Hercule, inside the new show’s Dockside area (superyacht and tender exhibition), the Yacht Design and Innovation Hub will complete the show’s historical Designer Gallery on Quai des Etats-Unis where visitors are used to directly meeting up with the designers and naval architects on their booths.Credits: MYS
