Night Fury II Delivered by Columbus Yachts
Following its official delivery, the Columbus Atlantique 43 M/Y Night Fury II has embarked on its maiden voyage. This vessel is the first of three constructions from the Atlantique line scheduled for delivery this summer. The steel and aluminium yacht will be showcased at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show 2024.With a volume of 462 GT, the Night Fury II features exterior and interior design by Hot Lab studio. The design philosophy, termed "Architecture for Voyagers," integrates stylistic, design, and functional elements to enhance the onboard experience. The naval engineering was developed by Palumbo Superyachts in collaboration with Hydro Tec studio.The yacht’s most distinctive feature is its "sailing-type" stern. The central swimming pool is surrounded by a C-shaped seating area facing astern. The low transom, just 50cm above sea level, and lateral folding side wings enhance the connection with the water.The lower deck includes four double cabins, with two VIP cabins featuring private bathrooms, and two twin cabins. The forward section of the lower deck is dedicated to the crew, providing four double cabins, each with a bathroom, as well as a crew mess and laundry area. The captain’s cabin is adjacent to the wheelhouse.The yacht also includes a 5.5m tender stored at the stern, with a garage on the starboard side. The main deck forward houses a second tender (rescue boat) and two jet skis.Powered by two 970kW Cat C32 Acert engines, the Columbus Atlantique 43 Night Fury II can achieve a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.Columbus Yachts was established in 2008. In early 2019, the shipyard launched the new flagship Columbus Classic 80m M/Y Dragon, which joins in the Columbus star-studded fleet with the award-winning Sport Hybrid 40 Divine, the 57m M/Y Taiba and the 40m M/Y Eleonora III. Inside Benetti's 37m Legend: A Modern Take on 1960s Navetta Aesthetics
Benetti has introduced M/Y Legend, a 37-meter Motopanfilo yacht that blends the charm of 1960s navettas with modern technical and stylistic advancements. Designed by Francesco Struglia for the exterior and Lazzarini Pickering Architects for the interior, the yacht maintains its traditional allure while featuring contemporary enhancements.Legend's design emphasizes large, light-filled spaces with broad terraces that offer constant visual contact with the sea. The yacht’s all-composite construction was overseen by Francesco Struglia and Lazzarini Pickering Architects, who aimed to create a fluid transition between interior and exterior spaces. Main saloon The yacht includes personalized elements such as Antartide pink marble and embossed leather, requested by the owner. Legend is equipped with a Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system to meet IMO Tier III emissions standards, a double-capacity desalination plant, a fuel purification system, and a Starlink internet system. It also features upgraded Miele professional appliances and complies with the REG Yacht Code for charter operations.Main saloon The interiors, designed by Claudio Lazzarini and Carl Pickering, offer a contemporary interpretation of classic motoryacht elegance. The main deck saloon, with sliding glass panels, blends seamlessly with the generous beach platform. Reflective surfaces around the windows enhance natural light and expand the interior spaces. The Main Deck's structure, inspired by the skeleton of a whale, features extensive lateral glazing and minimal furnishings to create an open ambiance. Main deckInterior materials include Alpi teak, Calacatta marble, and Antartide pink marble. The owner’s suite on the main deck and four guest suites on the lower deck offer luxurious accommodations, with a spiral staircase connecting to the skylounge on the upper deck. Loro Piana Interiors provided classic summer fabrics in shades of white, blue, and malachite.Master suite Francesco Struglia’s exterior design unifies the hull and superstructure with sharp lines and elongated forms. The superstructure’s bronze-colored paint adds a touch of modern elegance. The sun deck features a custom “grand piano” sun-pad, and the Lower Deck includes a spacious beach platform with a pull-out bar.Upper deckPowered by two V12 MAN engines, M/Y Legend achieves a top speed of 17 knots. Italian shipyard Wider has introduced the WiLder 60, an 18.9-meter yacht that blends bespoke superyacht building with customizable features. Designed for adventurous and discerning clients, the WiLder 60 aims to offer a thrilling yachting experience.The WiLder 60 features an all-aluminum hull designed by Wider Engineering, ensuring seaworthiness and stability. The model's standout elements include expansive exterior spaces and customizable interiors. The design focuses on creating a 60-footer that combines performance and luxury.Wider’s approach aims to cater to clients seeking a unique yachting experience. The first hull features a spacious owner’s cabin with an ensuite, two guest cabins, a saloon with a designer galley, and an additional head and shower. The aft port cabin can be converted into a crew area.The interior design incorporates luxury car elements, with materials and detailing that evoke a high-end aesthetic. Lighting plays a crucial role, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Fifth T52 Motor Yacht, Dopamine Launched by Baglietto
Baglietto has announced the launch of Dopamine, the fifth motor yacht in its T52 line. This new vessel continues the stylistic innovations that have defined the series' success. The yacht features an open stern with a three-level beach club, a distinctive hallmark of the T52 line. A large swimming pool with an adjustable floor allows the deck space to be expanded when the pool is not in use.
