80m Feadship’s Project 715 Is Ready for Outfitting
Feadship's 80-meter Project 715 hitted the water in the Netherlandsand now is on transport to the outfitting facility in Aalsmeer. There is still little information about the project, it is known that the marine architecture of the five-deck yacht was developed by De Voogt.According to the shipyard, this ice II class Feadship has one of the most environmentally friendly and efficient yacht propulsion systems available today. The Diesel-Electric-Battery-Solar propulsion allows the yacht to have a zero carbon footprint for up to two days running on advanced technology water-cooled batteries. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in summer 2025.Based in the Netherlands and with roots dating back to 1849, Feadship was formed as a group in 1949 as a marketing partnership between six Dutch shipyards, de Vries Lentch, Van de Stadt, Witsen & Vis, Akerboom, De Vries Scheepsbouw and Van Lent Shipyard, and De Voogt Naval Architects.
