Sunreef introduces the revolutionary Explorer Eco 40m, a cutting-edge vessel designed to venture into uncharted waters with minimal environmental impact. The Eco 40m represents a significant leap forward in sustainable yachting, offering unparalleled comfort while treading lightly on the planet.
Crafted as an eco-friendly version of Sunreef’s 40m Explorer catamaran, the Explorer Eco 40m boasts new wave-piercing hulls and a solar "skin" covering its exterior surfaces. This innovative design harnesses solar energy to power every onboard system, from air conditioning to entertainment amenities, ensuring a fully sustainable cruising experience.
The interior of the Explorer Eco 40m reflects Sunreef's commitment to luxury and sustainability. Crafted by the in-house design team, the contemporary living spaces span hundreds of square meters, featuring natural materials, fine woods, and organic finishes. Floor-to-ceiling glazing floods the interior with natural light and offers panoramic views of the ocean, creating a seamless connection with the marine environment.
Externally, the Explorer Eco 40m showcases a sleek profile with spacious deck areas that seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor living. The expansive aft deck transforms into a sprawling social space, complete with sun loungers, alfresco dining, and a sleek spa pool. A drop-down balcony provides breathtaking views of the anchorage, while a beach club aft offers endless opportunities for relaxation and watersports.
Accommodating up to 10 guests and seven crew members, the Explorer Eco 40m boasts four large guest cabins on the main deck and a luxurious owner's suite on the upper deck. The master stateroom features a super king-size bed, a walk-in dressing room, and a private terrace, offering unparalleled comfort and privacy for the owner.
Powered by twin 540kW motors and equipped with wave-piercing bows, the Explorer Eco 40m ensures smooth sailing and reduced energy consumption, making it ideal for transatlantic voyages. Sunreef's commitment to sustainability is further underscored by its collaboration with explorer and brand ambassador Mike Horn, who inspired the design of the new yacht during his "What’s Left" sailing expedition in Greenland.
With a build time of approximately three years, the Explorer Eco 40m can be constructed at Sunreef’s shipyards in Gdansk or Ras Al Khaimah. As the ultimate sustainable explorer yacht, the Explorer Eco 40m invites owners to embark on extraordinary adventures while preserving the beauty of the world's oceans for generations to come.
Sunreef Yachts was founded by Francis Lapp in 2002 in Gdansk, Poland. Since then, the shipyard has been designing and manufacturing luxury sailing and power multihulls.
