Pearl Yachts is set to make waves at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). This year, the British shipyard will showcase the remarkable Pearl 82 –the market's most compact superyacht – exclusively for American audiences in collaboration with their esteemed US partner, Atlantic Yacht & Ship, Inc. The event will also feature Pearl’s entire lineup, including the Pearl 95, Pearl 72, and Pearl 62.
The highlight of Pearl Yachts' exhibition is the Pearl 82, which recently premiered at the Cannes Yachting Festival, where it received the prestigious title of “Best Layout” in the 24m to 30m category at the World Yachts Trophies. Designed by the Pearl Product Development Team under the expert direction of renowned designer Bill Dixon, with luxurious interiors crafted by Kelly Hoppen CBE, the Pearl 82 stands as a pinnacle of modern luxury and engineering. It boasts an innovative Raised Pilothouse (RPH) design, five lavish en-suite staterooms – including a master suite with a unique forepeak terrace – crew accommodations for four, and a spacious garage suitable for a 3.95 tender, jet ski, and water toys.
This exceptional model offers two aft deck configuration – Riviera and Veranda – to cater to various lifestyles. The Riviera layout features rear-facing sun pads behind the dining area, while the Veranda option provides flexible seating for outdoor meals and stunning views. Both configurations include folding bulwarks that enhance the cockpit, seamlessly connecting it to the sea.
The Pearl 82 also features direct access to a private forepeak terrace, just steps away from the sun-soaked foredeck lounge. The bow area connects to the flybridge via a passage on the starboard side, allowing easy movement between outdoor spaces and introducing the first asymmetric, semi-walkaround deck in its size category.
Iain Smallridge, Managing Director of Pearl Yachts, expressed enthusiasm regarding the event: “The debut of the Pearl 82 alongside our complete fleet at FLIBS underscores our commitment to excellence and growth in the American market. This year’s accolades are a testament to our team’s dedication and creativity, inspiring us to continually elevate yacht design and enhance customer experiences.”
The unveiling of the Pearl 82 at FLIBS emphasizes the brand’s focus on functional innovation. This new five-cabin model is set to transform yacht design within the eighty-foot range, showcasing a blend of state-of-the-art design, opulent interiors, and distinctive features, solidifying its reputation as “the most compact superyacht on the market.”
