Camper & Nicholsons has shared the results of 2022 and the company's plans for 2023. 2022 was another successful year for Camper & Nicholsons, across all departments, with 5.5 km of yachts managed in both charter and yacht management; 700 charters booked, making 5,416 charter days.
In 2022 Camper & Nicholsons have sold and delivered notable yachts both second-hand and new build from some of the shipyards in Northern Europe and Italy. The continuous sales performance is proven by its results and in the last 10 years Camper & Nicholsons had a 18.7% market share (yachts by length) of the industry’s top 5 brokerage companies.
“2022 was a record year for our company in terms of both retail and charter management revenues. Globally, we managed 2.2 billion euros assets value in charter in 2022,” says Paolo Casani, chief executive officer at Camper & Nicholsons.

Daniela Duck, new build division coordinator at Camper & Nicholsons, points out that industry new build sales in 2022 were up 35% from an already impressive 2021, as 186 luxury yacht projects were signed off compared to 120 the previous year, adding a note about the projects managed by C&N: “In the last 12 months, new projects have been delivered by and signed with Feadship, Baglietto and Mangusta among others, that kept the team very busy.”
C&N has big plans for 2023. The forecast for 2023 is very positive as the company is already up 20% compared to last year. Casani comments on the expansion and reasons behind, “The opening of a new office in Singapore will improve our reach and presence in Southeast Asia. Our Hong Kong office opened its doors four years ago, and we seek to improve our presence in Asia.”
Other regions where Camper & Nicholsons plans for expansion are the Mediterranean, and further consolidation in the United States with investments to be done in those important areas.
