Italian yard Benetti has launched 49-metre custom yacht previously known as Project Zafiro, which was christened Elaldrea+ by her experienced owner at Viareggio shipyard. Project Zafiro was sold for her owners in September 2015.
Built from a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, this super yacht has a 9.1-metre beam and a maximum draught of 2.45-metres. Exterior and interior design is a result of the collaboration between Horacio Bozzo Design and Benetti Style Department. The design can be described as minimalistic, with pure lines and prevailing functionality.
Key features of the yacht include a 115 square metres flybridge, 4-metre pool, few dining rooms, superyacht beach club with dedicated sauna area, garage for 6.3-metre tender and 3.4-metre crew tender. The yacht interior design boasts a custom furnishing by Link Outdoor, Sutherland and Vaar. Canaletto walnut and tanganyika woodwork are constrasting in the yacht's interior and stainless steel is inserted with silk, velvet and 5 types of marble, while the furnishings are selection of Poltrona Frau, Giorgetti, Softhouse and Arketipo.
Elaldrea+ can accommodate 12 guests and 10 crewmembers. The 60 metre square owner’s suite is equipped with a fully automatic sliding balcony, 2 bathrooms, a private office, 2 wardrobes, boasting a large windows, which provides beautiful sea views and let natural light flood in. A 6 guest cabins are located on 90 square metres, including 2 VIP cabins.
Elaldrea+ is powered by twin MTU V12 engines, with a top speed of 14.5 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots, with fuel tanks capacity of 60,000 litres. The yacht is also fitted with Naiad stabilisers, which are smoothing cruising experience even in tough conditions.
