Princess Yachts has offered a more in-depth look at what it calls the "luxury SUV of the seas."

Bernard Olesinski has been designing yachts since 1972. During this time, according to his drawings, more than 15,000 yachts were built, but it can be safely said that the work on the Princess X95 yacht was the main challenge in the designer’s career. For its creation, Olesinski had to completely revise the traditional yacht architecture. For Princess Yachts, the yacht X95 has become another joint project not only with Bernard Olesinski but also the Italian design house Pininfarina. The X95 is the harbinger of the new X-class of the British shipyard Princess Yachts.

"The X95 breaks the mould of traditional yacht design," says Antony Sheriff, Executive Chairman of Princess Yachts. "The unique open plan architecture is brought to life through our design partnership with the legendary styling house Pininfarina. The layout provides 10 percent more outdoor space and 40 percent more indoor space than a traditional motor yacht. This leap forward in space and versatility mirrors recent innovations from luxury automotive brands who have developed crossover models."

First of all, a 30-meter yacht differs from yachts of similar size by an increased volume of interior space, which Bernard Olesinsky achieved by proposing the concept of a super-flybridge - the flybridge and the interior space of the main deck now occupy almost the entire length of the yacht. For comparison: the X95 superflybridge extends to 22 meters, which is almost twice the length of the flybridge on yachts of the same size, and the volume of interior space has increased by 40% compared to a traditional motor yacht.

The likening to an SUV refers to the boat's open-plan interior, which includes a full beam master stateroom along with a forward stateroom. The main deck saloon offers a 65-inch UHD LED TV and Naim audio system, along with a clear view forward and a staircase leading up to the enclosed sky lounge.

In the aft part of the lower deck, there is a garage for a jet ski and three cabins with private bathrooms, and in the bow part, there is a VIP cabin with a large double bed, a bathroom, and a dressing room. The sky lounge opens up to an expansive alfresco dining area, with ample seating and sun beds to sit back and take in the crisp ocean air.

The galley features a five-zone induction cooktop, island bench with twin sinks, oven, icemaker, and dishwasher, while all bathrooms feature full shower stalls with electric freshwater toilets. Air conditioning comes standard in all cabins.

Equipped with all necessary yacht X95 is designed for long journeys with a distance of up to 2000 nautical miles and has a speed of up to 26 knots.

Powered by twin V12 1,900 metric horsepower engines, the X95 can travel at up to 26 knots and features 13,400-L fuel capacity to keep it bounding across the water.

Princess Yachts says a full reveal of the X95 will follow later in 2019 and she will sail in 2020.
