The new cruiser-racer 28-metre Nahita, developed for an existing Wally owner who is a keen racing yachtsman from Europe, was successfully launched right on schedule, in the presence of her team and the shipyard workforce. The yacht features the latest hull lines with the distinctive large stern and big interior volumes, resulting into the new generation superyacht, dazzlingly fast and very comfortable, providing the ultimate experience in high performance sailing. “The new Nahita fully reflects the Wally DNA to combine exceptional cruising capabilities and maxi racing performance” describes Luca Bassani, Wally and Wally Class president “Additionally, the deck is ultra-clean with huge living areas.” The new custom superyacht boasts the proven Wally hallmarks and the Judel Vrolijk naval architecture.
“The design of the Wally 93 benefits from the experience of Open Season, one of the Wally Class leaders, and of the Maxi72 winners of the last four worlds, all designed by Judel Vrolijk.” continues Bassani, “The new Nahita is very light and powerful with a featherweight 35,5 tons, that is a displacement in the region of the Wally 80 Nahita she replaces, and a sail area/displacement ratio as powerful as that of the Wallycentos”. The weights are centred amidships to minimize the pitching. The lifting keel provides for the draft to extend from 4,5 to 6,2 meters to increase the righting moment in the broad reach and the lift upwind.

The Wally 93 introduces a new deck style that camouflages the central social cockpit and the coamings, looking like a full flush with plenty of living areas, unobstructed from any manoeuvre. As usual with all the Wallys, the new Nahita has full luxury interiors but her weight concentration has been optimised placing the saloon area forward of the mast and the crew cabin and galley amid-ships.
Additionally, the salon has more privacy than in the standard layouts because it is separated from the access to downbelow: the companionway leads to the passageway of the crew and guest cabins and to the galley area. Enhanced privacy also for the owners area, located forward the salon, while the two guest cabins are aft. The new Nahita is built using the most advanced composite technology, providing for the reduced displacement and increased rigidity. The building materials are like those used in the America’s cup boats: high modulus unidirectional carbon fiber, and CNC female carbon fiber mould. The breakthrough superyacht will make her debut at the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup 2018.

Italian shipyard CRN has handed over the 67-meter superyacht Amor à Vida to its owner following successful sea trials. The steel and aluminum vessel, previously known as Project Maranello, departed CRN's Ancona facility in early May for its maiden Mediterranean voyage.The six-deck yacht features exterior styling by Nuvolari Lenard and interior design by Valentina Zannier, developed in collaboration with the owner. Moran Yacht & Ship represented the owner throughout the construction process, overseeing technical evaluations and project coordination. Accommodation includes an owner's suite on the upper deck, a convertible VIP suite on the main deck, and five guest cabins on the lower deck, with a total capacity for 12 guests.Amor à Vida incorporates a hybrid propulsion system with two MTU 12V4000 M63 engines, achieving IMO Tier III emissions certification. UAE-based Enata Group has launched in-house production of jet turbines, marking the country's first domestic manufacturing capability in this sector. The 70-meter Benetti superyacht Alfa has completed an extensive refit at Lusben, the refit division of Azimut|Benetti Group. Originally delivered in 2020, the full-custom yacht underwent a complete renovation coordinated by Ocean Independence, with interior design by Mark Berryman Design.The technical scope included full repainting of the hull and owner deck with advanced protective coatings, along with the mandatory five-year survey of all major systems. Engineers conducted thorough inspections and servicing of stabilizers, propulsion shafts, engines, and generators. Mechanical upgrades featured new software for the forward crane allowing independent arm control, redesigned bollards, and optimized stern platform fittings for improved tender operations.
