Feadship has launched the new Moonrise, a 101-meter superyacht under construction at its facility in Makkum. The vessel represents an advanced evolution of its predecessor, delivered in 2020, and features similar design traits characterized by sleek exterior lines and a powerful vertical bow, complemented by elegant grey and snow-white paintwork.

Designed by Studio De Voogt for the exterior and Rémi Tessier for the interior, the new Moonrise incorporates several technological innovations and design improvements. A notable first for Feadship is the absence of traditional domes typically found on superyachts. Instead of the previous vessel’s five domes housing VSAT and TVRO antennas, the new Moonrise integrates Starlink satellite receivers directly into the superstructure, enhancing both communication capabilities and aesthetic appeal.

The yacht boasts several other design modifications, including a taller mast, an expanded sun deck with amenities such as a massage area, gym, and hairdressing salon. Exterior decks and the swim platform have also been extended. Additional features include an owner’s deck and a private cinema located on the bridge deck.

Naval architecture has been optimized for enhanced comfort, both underway and at anchor. Noise reduction was a key focus, with specially designed propellers and appendages minimizing both underwater noise and interior sound levels. An innovative fully resilient-mounted anchor winch foundation, the first of its kind, with optimized chain routing, contributes to the exceptional onboard experience.

Currently in the outfitting phase, Moonrise will undergo sea trials prior to delivery to its owner. The vessel demonstrates Feadship’s commitment to innovation and luxury in superyacht design through its meticulous attention to detail and custom engineering solutions.
