Istanbul-based shipyard Sirena Marine has launched the first unit of its entry-level motor yacht at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival: the Sirena 48. The 16-meter yacht completes the existing product line for Sirena between 40 and 100 feet (comprising the Sirena 58, 68, 78 and 88).

Thanks to its smaller and perfectly formed size, the Sirena 48 is targeted at the next generation of boaters and marine enthusiasts to enter the industry, and is already proving to be popular in the market, with more than 20 units of the model sold to date.

Designed by the renowned yacht designer Germán Frers, the Sirena 48 boasts a striking, modern trawler design that turns heads wherever it sails. Inside, this GRP yacht offers generous interior spaces for guests to enjoy. The spacious swimming platform can accommodate a tender, jet ski, or other water toys. The sporty Sirena 48 can reach top speeds of 27 knots, making it perfect for thrilling high-speed journeys, yet it's equally suitable for long, efficient bluewater cruising when relaxation is the priority. The yacht maintains a cruising speed of 15-16 knots, with an economical cruising speed of 10 knots, providing an impressive expected range of 520 nautical miles at this pace.

Sirena Yachts offers multiple layout options for the Sirena 48 to meet individual owner preferences. The owner can choose between an open or traditional aft cockpit layout, with customization extending to the bathing platform. The crew cabin can be replaced with a storage area, complete with a full-height door or a transom seating area.

Regardless of the configuration chosen, guests will appreciate the yacht's exceptional flybridge, thoughtfully designed to enhance outdoor living. The extended flybridge features a spacious entertainment area, alfresco dining, and multiple sunpads forward, providing ample space for relaxation.

Accommodations on the Sirena 48 include three staterooms and an optional crew cabin.

“We are so excited to launch the first hull of our Sirena 48 yacht at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival. As an all-weather yacht offering an unprecedented level of choice and flexibility for a boat in her size range, we anticipate that she will be very well received across both the Mediterranean and US markets. The fact that we’ve already sold more than 20 of these units to date speaks for itself!” says Ali Onger, Sirena Yachts COO.
