The 43rd Cannes Yachting Festival will start next week on September 7. The event promises an exceptional display of the newest superyachts. We choose ten of them.

'Panam'
Baglietto
40m

Panam bears the signature of Francesco Paszkowski Design both for the exterior and the interior, the latter in collaboration with Margherita Casprini. Sleek and aggressive, this 40m has impressive performances, ensured by the aluminum alloy hull and three MTU engines 16V2000 M96L and three KaMeWa water-jet engines (n. 2 x S71-4 on the sides and one central booster S63B-4), which push her up to a maximum speed of 31 knots and a pleasant cruising speed of 25 knots. The interior is in a contemporary style with warm woods, light shades of gray and taupe embellished with onyx and marbles chosen by the owner.

Flexplorer "Aurelia'
CDM
39.4m

Cantiere delle Marche’s first Flexplorer superyacht Aurelia features design by Hydro. She has collapsible aft deck bulwarks, which fold out to port and starboard to create an “infinity deck”. The loft styled interiors made by Francesco Paszkowski Design. She has an asymmetrical layout on the main deck. One of her remarkable features are the bulwarks that are collapsible on both sides for around 7 meters to increase the deck space astern. Once the bulwarks are folded down it becomes a beach area of more than 115 sq. m.

Grande Trideck
Azimut Yachts
38.2m

The 38.2m long and 7.9m wide, the Azimut Trideck is the new flagship of Azimut Yachts. The Trideck proposes a revolutionary layout, both indoors and outdoors. The yacht has three decks + one, offering a new space, an extra deck at the stern that fits among the traditional ones. It is the sea view terrace, a floating aft deck of 30 sq. m that seems to remain suspended in the air, two meters above the water. The exterior design was penned by Alberto Mancini. The interior is made by Achille Salvagni. The new symbol of the brand’s innovative DNA.

Motopanfilo 37M
Benetti
37m

Motopanfilo 37M is a fiberglass and composite yacht designed by Lazzarini Pickering Architects for the interiors and Francesco Struglia in collaboration with Benetti for the exterior. Her elegant lines evoke were inspired by the Benetti “navette” from the ‘60s. Very retro and very modern at the same time.

37XP
Numarine
37m

The 37XP has a full displacement steel hull with a composite superstructure. The exterior is made by Can Yalman and naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini. The interior penned by Hot Lab. She has an impressive 345 GT with a 5,000 nautical mile range at 10 knots.

SL120 Asymmetric
Sanlorenzo
36.92m

SL120 Asymmetric is the name of the new flagship of the asymmetric line by Sanlorenzo. The external and internal lines of the SL120 Asymmetric were designed by studio Zuccon International Project. The Asymmetry allows the expansion of the main salon, eliminating the starboard side deck and maximizing connection with the sea by creating an ample dining room on one side, with full-height glazing, and a living area on the other side. Very unique, very Sanlorenzo.

WHY200
Wally
27m

Wally WHY200 is the latest motor yacht developed by the Wally design team led by Luca Bassani and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, with the collaboration of Laurent Gile NA for the naval architecture and A. Vallicelli & C for the interior design. The new compact yacht weighs in at 200 GT and under 24m (78’8”) load line length, but conveys the comfort and space of a much larger displacement yacht alongside the speed advantages of a semi-displacement yacht. A spacious owner’s suite with the uninterrupted 200-degree views is the absolutely must see.

Extra X86 'Haze'
Palumbo Yachts
26.2m

The X86 modern exterior lines are made by Francesco Guida. Interior signed by Lawson Robb. The large seamless windows offer a magical sensation of being inside a large crystal dome, providing great brightness to the exclusive internal living areas and a 360° panoramic view. The main features of the G.A. include the forward wheelhouse, which makes the saloon and aft deck very spacious and ideal for being transformed into an "entertainment space for late indoor movies". Spacious and unusual.

76' Perseo Super
Riva
23.25m

With an overall length of 23.25m and a maximum beam of 5.75m, the new Riva sport-fly is a result of collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee led by Mr. Piero Ferrari, designer Mauro Micheli, the founder of Officina Italiana Design with Sergio Beretta, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. Over 40 sq. m of glazed surfaces on the hull and in the superstructure characterise the yacht’s sleek profile and enhance the sporty look of the exterior styling. She has a large cockpit with the dining area, which can be easily converted to a spacious sun pad. The sun deck offers a place both to relax and to pilot the boat. True Italian signature craftsmanship.

70HT
Otam
22.30m

With one-off design by BG Design Firm, as well as bespoke engineering and hull lines by Umberto Tagliavini Marine Design, the new Otam 70HT is the epitome of dynamic performance and timeless style. At 22.30m in length and with a beam of 5.40m and 21 degrees of deadrise, the 70HT is very seaworthy, spacious and comfortable for a speedy luxury cruiser of her size. Clients are free to choose their own layout and interior solutions. A key feature of the interiors is the futuristic dashboard, also designed by BG Design Firm. It’s inspired by the aeronautical and automotive world and the design resembles the console of a jet fighter.
