Kurt Strand, yacht designer from Southern California, has presented his latest ambitious project, a 135-metre mega yacht “California”. The contemporary design of the vessel with impressive interior volume of 8,000 GT will be trademarked with large glass walls, glass balconies, foldable glass doors and retractable sections at the living areas. Apart from maximum speed of 20 knots provided by 3 Azipods propels, the yacht can run at a reduced speed of 11 knots for up to 5 hours on the battery power of 60-tonne lithium-ion battery bank.





Serbian designer Igor Jankovic has revealed a new 72-metre concept of a high-performance sailing yacht named Osseo. The concept is trademarked with a carbon fibre and graphene hull, ensuring high resistance against corrosion. The yacht’s exterior colour palette is combined of black and chameleon blue-purple colours. Osseo will feature a beach club under a semi-transparent roof and tinted glass, suitable for all-day use.





The idea behind this 52-metre Supply Vessel, developed by the Rosetti Superyachts with the Italian designer Giovanni Griggio, Phi Design, Lab is to combine the functionality typical of a supply vessel with the design features and quality finish of a superyacht. The project is based on a biomimetic concept: it’s inspired by the vein structure of leaves, with stylistic features adopted both on the outer hull and in the interiors





RM Sotheby’s has introduced one of  the lots of the forthcoming Villa Erba auction, including the 1950s Riva yacht, once part of Prince Rainier and Grace Kelly’s fleet. Several years ago, the vessel was sent to a Dutch specialist for renovation. The refit works took several years, returning the yacht to her original specification, with her original engines restored. The yacht was refurbished, while her Chris-O-Matic transmission was also rebuilt.

British builder Princess Yachts has offered a more in-depth look at what it calls the "luxury SUV of the seas." X95 is the yard's joint project with Bernard Olesinski and Italian design house Pininfarina. A 30-metre yacht features increased interior volume, achieved with flybridge and the interior space of the main deck occupying almost the entire length of the yacht. Equipped with all necessary yacht X95 is designed for long journeys with a distance of up to 2000 nautical miles and has a speed of up to 26 knots.





The 110 metre Anna, a flagship of the Dutch shipyard Feadship, has returned to the brand’s Amsterdam facility for maintenance works ahead of summer season. As commissioned by her owners, the four-deck displacement yacht will undergo several “minor works”, one year after her launch.

The builder has constructed 61 motor and sailing superyachts so far, with an average LOA of 49 metres. 110m Oceanco yacht Jubilee: An island unto herself
Jubilee is a 110m luxury yacht, built by Oceanco, which specializes in building custom superyachts in aluminium and steel, and delivered in 2017. She is definitely one of a kind.Not only her size makes her that special, but it’s more even about the way she looks and feels. Jubilee combines fast lines and smart surfaces with elegant proportions. The whole look of her is very modern and, in some point, is futuristic.“The hull shape is deliberately minimalistic to contrast with the superstructure,” says Igor Lobanov of Lobanov Design, which created Jubilee’s exterior. “At the same time, a massive white funnel pins the entire layers down to the white hull, leaving a feeling that the white structure goes inside through the decks.” After Jubilee was launched in 2017, she achieved two milestones: being the largest yacht built at Oceanco and the largest yacht built in the Netherlands. Her owner from a Middle Eastern royal family invited Sorgiovanni Designs to work with the shipyard on the interior.From overhead, the superyacht looks like a contour map of an island, with each deck appearing at different heights above sea level.“The 3-D modeling was quite a challenging task, which pleased my mathematical part of the brain,” Lobanov says. “Each of the layers meets and splits under certain rules, which can be noticed from different angles.”No wonder, Jubilee has achieved numerous awards, including being Yachts International’s editors’ pick as the best exterior styling in 2017.The motor yacht can accommodate 31 guests in 16 cabins with 39 crew members. Four VIP cabins are found on the bridge deck, while there are a further 10 guest suites on the main deck. Her huge main saloon is about 135 square metre space focused around a large television at one end and big and cozy lounge chair at the another.Jubilee also features the tremendous pool deck with a built-in aquarium. Just below is a beach club, hammam, gym, and access to the water via a fold-down transom.Uniquely designed stairs and an elevator connect all five decks.Her top speed is 18.5kn and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 5000.0nm at with power coming from two 4828.0hp MTU diesel engines.

At her launch in 1990, Lady Moura was the most expensive and innovative yacht in the world. As a private yacht built by Blohm & Voss, with a length 105m, she was extremely outstanding.In an era when only clients of Royal status were able to possess such luxury, Lady Moura was registered as the ninth largest yacht ever built. She definitely set a new standard in yachting 30 years ago.Built to be a private residence, the yacht has been cloaked in mystery to the outside world for three decades.
