Icon Yachts together with Bristow Holmes brokerage firm first unveiled 46m Project Gotham last November. Now the companies has announced that the keel laying ceremony officially took place on Friday the 14th of July at the “Bloemsma” Aluminum facility in Makkum, in the Dutch province of Friesland.
The keel laying ceremony marks the beginning of the physical construction of “The Gotham Project” following nearly twelve months of project planning, design and naval architecture.
We are very excited that after winning the prestigious Yacht and Aviation Awards in London with Ivan Erdevicki back in 2013 the initial concept has matured into the stunning Gotham project. The team of ICON Yachts, Bristow Holmes and Erdevicki Design are all enthused by the vision and passion of the client creating his very personal dream yacht

Built by the Dutch shipyard and designed in partnership with ER Yacht Design, she promises to be one of the most iconic yachts of the future. Ivan Erdevicki styled both the exterior and interior, whilst Icon Yachts and Van Oossanen were responsible for the naval architecture.
The Gotham Project is able to accommodate 10 guests in 5 cabins, as well as a crew of 10.
Powered by twin 2000hp MTU engines and capable of up to 26 knots utilizing traditional shaft drives ensures she boasts the performance to match her striking exterior. Her custom glass wine cellar, gymnasium and symmetrical entertainment areas are just a few of her truly unique features.
The Gotham Project is due for delivery in Spring 2019.
