Overmarine Group has announced the sale of its first 54m flagship of the new Fast Displacement line in September 2016.

Officially presented more than a year ago, during the Monaco Yacht Show as a design concept, Mangusta GranSport is the Overmarine Group’s brand new line of fast displacement yachts. Designed by Alberto Mancini, this line combines technical features such as speed, greater range and limited consumption with extraordinary levels of comfort.
Mangusta Gransport 54 is also pure beauty, achieved through a design with clean, dynamic lines and countless details, never redundant. A design that is a perfect interpretation of the Mediterranean lifestyle, i.e. experiencing the great outdoors, the pleasure of eating outside, close to the sea perhaps, in the cool shelter of a patio.
Mangusta GranSport 54 construction at the Pisa shipyard is well underway. Featuring a racy profile, powerful engines, fast cruising speeds and spacious, functional onboard areas, this model is easily able to cruise long distances.
Engineering studies and tank tests were carried out after the presentation of the concept, and a few changes made to the project. The yacht was altered in length and is currently 54 metres. She also features a new 4 engine propulsion system (4 x MTU 16V 2000 M94 2600Hp) with stabilizers. Advantages include greater propulsion efficiency, lower consumption especially at slow speeds, a higher top speed of up to 30 knots, lower draft, of around 2.5m which is perfect for cruising in shallow waters like those of the Bahamas, for example, or the islands of the Mediterranean. She also has better hydrodynamics, a greater range (around 3800 miles) and can consequently be used in a number of different ways – all of which in total comfort.
The superyacht will be ready in 2018.

As the Palma International Boat Show commemorates its 40th anniversary, it sets its gaze firmly on the future with two groundbreaking initiatives: an economic impact study and certification as a sustainable event. Notably, the Palma Superyacht Village will feature a dedicated area for boats over 24 meters, complemented by the introduction of the Superyacht Square, emphasizing innovation and sustainability.As part of the anniversary celebrations, the Balearic Superyacht Forum, the first international superyacht forum in the Balearic Islands, will convene around 300 industry professionals, enthusiasts, and experts to discuss the sector's future. Additionally, the fair will pay tribute to the companies that have contributed to its success over the years, recognizing their pivotal role in shaping the event's legacy.The 40th-anniversary festivities will culminate in a series of activities on April 26th, featuring music, entertainment, and a captivating drone show. ISA Yachts reveals the initial glimpses of the ISA Custom 80 meters as it embarks on its interior outfitting phase. Project Arwen is the latest masterpiece from Dörries Yachts, boasting an extravagant 114-meter length and an awe-inspiring 20-meter hydraulic swimming pool.This superyacht, commissioned by an American technology billionaire, epitomizes international collaboration. Designed by U.S. firm Píndaros, with contributions from French studio Champeau Wilde and British designer Andy Waugh, and naval architecture led by Dutch outfit Azure, Project Arwen is a testament to top-tier German engineering, constructed at Dörries' facilities in Bremerhaven, Germany.Project Arwen's centerpiece is undoubtedly its extraordinary infinity pool, spanning most of the aft deck.
