Oceanco’s 3: A Fleet of Exceptional Oceanco Brokerage Superyachts Heads to Monaco Yacht Show
Sea Walk.Pedigree yachts with low engine hours and strictly private usage are rare and sought-after offers on the brokerage market today. Previously known as Lady Christina, the 62m Oceanco Sea Walk has only once changed hands since delivery and never been chartered. She was delivered in 2005 for a very experienced yachtsman, who meant to use the vessel for worldwide cruising and opted for electrical convertors to provide easy shorepower connection anywhere in the world as well as large storage areas, good sized pantries and well-appointed crew and service areas. Gently sloping exterior lines, resembling the flowing sea waves, and large windows effectively conceal the huge volumes of this 1,116GT vessel. Inside, the yacht features an art deco interior penned by Francois Zuretti. All of the wood onboard is finished in a satin varnish which shows the beauty of the timber without the intimidating gleam of high gloss.A notable twist from conventional layouts is a formal dining room that is located forward on the starboard side of the main deck that spans roughly half the hulls width. A special feature of this dining room is the large opening window which gives the feeling of an open terrace restaurant. The forward part of the main deck is occupied by the wheelhouse, ship office, captains cabin and a bunk cabin suitable for children or additional staff. The owner’s suite takes up the whole upper deck. It includes a bedroom with superb views through a semi-circle of windows, an impressive dressing room, a spectacular split-level ensuite bathroom and a skylounge opening to a private exterior deck. The headroom in the owner’s suite reaches 2.3m.The four guest cabins are located on the lower deck aft and have silk panelled walls and attractive marble bathrooms with bathtubs (double cabins) or showers (twins). The fabrics, marbles and joinery details slightly differ from cabin to cabin for a touch of personalization. All cabins have fully updated entertainment systems and controls. In 2014 Sea Walk underwent an extensive refit, during which Azure Yacht Design and H2 Design studios collaborated on extension of her main deck aft to add a large jacuzzi and create a corridor from the lower deck guest lobby to the beach club. In the redesigned layout you can pass through a watertight door into the tenders garages and beyond to the stern platform without crossing the main saloon dressed for swim. The beach club incorporates a fully tiled steam room with fibre optic ‘twinkling star’ ceiling, and a shower.Though never been chartered, Sea Walk is built to MCA standards and can easily acquire compliance should her next owner decide to operate her commercially.Sea Walk has completed her 15 year survey in 2021.Luna B.Another remarkable Oceanco yacht that is a must-see in Monaco is the 66m Luna B, which is also available for charter. Her elegant lines and masterful engineering are complemented by sophisticated yet inviting interior from Alberto Pinto. The earthy colour palette features Macassar ebony and sycamore joinery with nickel-plated finishings. The light and airy sky lounge benefits from large floor-to-ceiling windows and there is a dedicated cinema room. The yacht sleeps 16 guests across eight cabins. Her full-beam master suite converts to two VIPs and features two dressing rooms and spacious en suites. The classical rounded transom reminds of vessels of a bygone era, but opens to reveal a contemporary beach club.A pièce de résistance on Luna B is her expansive sundeck designed around a beautiful scallop-shaped pool with swim jet and spa functions. An impressive aft sunbathing area can also be used as a helipad. The sundeck also features a seating area and wet bar, two large tables that merge into an 18-seat table, an outdoor cinema, a disco and a barbeque.Sea Pearl.Fresh from a 2022 refit by the NCA yard in Italy, which involved several key upgrades, a full repaint and a refurbishment inside and out, this 60m is a beautiful representation of Oceanco craftsmanship and Winch Design style.Expansive guest deck spaces include a large sun deck, spanning almost half the length of the yacht. It features a touch-and-go helipad and sun lounge with wet bar and BBQ aft. There is also an outdoor cinema, disco, a large glass-backed jacuzzi with sunpads forward and climate-controlled gym beneath the hardtop. On the bridge deck aft there is a semi-circular glass indoor-outdoor dining area with spectacular views. The main deck aft has a lounge that can also serve for informal dining with a buffet bar and there is internal access to the fold-down swim platform. The main saloon itself is open plan with just a partial bulkhead separating the lounge from the formal dining area forward.Sea Pearl sleeps 12 guests in six suites inlcuding a duplex owner's suite with a private observation lounge opening to a private foredeck terrace. New ISA GT 33 Presented by ISA Yachts
ISA Yachts has presented a new model of the Granturismo line: the compact 33 meters уacht. Her exterior and interior design is by Architect Enrico Gobbi - Team for Design, while the naval engineering is by Palumbo Superyachts. The exterior design portrays a great coupé effect through the pronounced bow, the superstructure located toward the stern and the arches connecting all the decks. On both the main and the upper deck, continuity between the indoor and outdoor layout is achieved through the use of the same materials and the purposeful design of the lighting system. The placing of these areas on a single-level floor further facilitates the merging to create a dynamic and versatile environment. To this purpose, the cockpit sofas on the main deck have been designed so as not to obstruct the view from indoor. The upper deck features a circular dining room which, thanks to the 180-degree sliding window, opens the view on the cockpit, again for the purpose of creating a single indoor/outdoor space. ISA GT 33 also has a hydro-massage swimming pool in the bow.ISA GT 33 can accommodate up to 10 people, with the owner cabin located on the main deck forward, while two VIP cabins and two double cabins with twin beds are below deck. The service is guaranteed by five crew members. With aluminum hull and superstructure, ISA GT 33 is equipped with twin MTU 1620hp engines powering it to a top speed of 21 knots and guaranteeing a cruise speed of 19 knots.Palumbo Superyachts took root in 2008, when the Columbus Yachts brand was established, and in 2011 it launched its first 54m superyacht, emblematically christened Prima (the First). Currently, Palumbo Superyachts comprises a representative office in Monaco and a logistics network of five shipyards in the Mediterranean (Ancona, Malta, Marseille, Naples, and Savona); it also operates the following brands: ISA Yachts, Columbus Yachts, Mondomarine, Extra Yachts and Palumbo SY Refit.Credits: ISA Yachts
Keel Laid for 50m YN 20750 Project Orion Announced by Heesen
Heesen has announced the keel laying of YN 20750, Project Orion. The important milestone took place on September 14 at the Oss shipyard, witnessed by the ABS surveyor. The exterior was penned by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. This series boasts a striking profile with a near-vertical bow and large floor-to-ceiling windows. Italian designer Cristiano Gatto has created a contemporary interior design, making the most out of bright internal spaces, floodlit with natural light, that offer views of the surrounding seascape thanks to open bulwarks. The six-stateroom layout, with the master on the main deck forward, a full beam VIP, and two double and two twin staterooms on the lower deck, make this yacht ideal for both private and charter use. At 50 meters overall, with a shallow draft and a sub-500 GT enclosed volume, Project Orion will be powered by Heesen’s hybrid propulsion system, which delivers the ultimate luxury in yachting: silent cruising. With two MTU 12V 2000 M61 (IMO III) engines of just 600kW each, Orion at 12 knots will consume 98 liters per hour excluding hotel load, while at 10 knots in hybrid mode, consumption falls to a mere 45 liters per hour. The efficient Fast Displacement Hull Form developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects and engineered by the shipyard’s in-house specialists. Orion sistership, YN 17850 MY Home (aka Project Nova)"Laying the keel of a new yacht is always an exciting moment, and even more so when it is built as a speculative venture. At Heesen, we are pioneers in the construction of superyachts in small series, on proven hull designs, propulsion systems and engineering, with individual interiors. The idea of advancing the build by a year or two before the customer signs up reduces delivery time, along with the costs saved in design and development. It has proved to be a winning formula,” comments Friso Visser, Heesen CCO. Project Orion is available for sale with delivery in February 2025.Heesen Yachts is a Dutch ship building company that specializes in custom-built superyachts in aluminum and steel from 30m to 70m in size. Founded in 1978, it has launched more than 170 yachts since its inception.Credits: Heesen Yachts
90m Concept Le Mans Presented by M51
Anthony Glasson of design studio M51 presented its newest concept, the 90m yacht Le Mans, which was inspired by the classic race cars of the 1970s. The vessel has a three-color paint scheme on the superstructure. The exterior lines are clean and contemporary, all staircases hidden within the superstructure. The interior theme is elegant, but futuristic and pairs gloss black accents with copper and stainless steel. Natural wood is designed to lighten the interior and soften bright accents.Le Mans can accommodate up to 12 guests across seven staterooms, including the full 13.8 meter beam master suite with geometric windows, an island bed and a generous lounge and vanity table, two VIPs and four twin cabins. The vessel features a touch-and-go helipad, a high-tech gym, sauna, steam room, massage room and a private cinema. A large hot tub outside and a dancefloor inside the sundeck, the al fresco table for 12 people is located on the upper deck and a counter-flow swimming pool can be found on the main deck.Le Mans will offer a range of toys to cater to gearheads, from Jet Skis and day boats to scuba gear. A custom tender is also included. Credits: M51
85m Concept Slice Unveiled by Feadship
The 2022 Monaco Yacht Show will host the debut of Feadship’s latest concept yacht Slice. 85-meter yacht reimagines ways to bring natural light to a yacht’s interior, integrating the interior and exterior in bold new ways and follows after Feadship’s X-Stream, F-Stream, Breathe, Aeon, Royale, Choice and Pure. The eleventh Feadship Concept, Slice takes the sculptural exterior philosophy of last year’s Pure Concept, lengthens and wraps it around a totally fresh interior creating a series of exciting, unique destinations for guests. The starting point was cutting open structure to bring light below in new ways to new places. A once predictable flow of spaces is abandoned in favor of a fresh approach to the onboard lifestyle. Nowhere is this more pronounced than the precedent-setting 110 sq. m multi level pool deck aft. It’s like taking tomorrow’s version of a beach and exclusive open-air cabana club with you as you cruise between destinations.Regardless of what non-fossil fuels are used, the variable speed generators power Slice comfortably and efficiently to 16 knots. The system is forward thinking, anticipating more energy dense batteries and durable power-dense fuel cell solutions that may be (re)fitted when available. Ultimately, the possibility for net-zero carbon operations will be dependent on the fuel bunkered. The yacht is technically feasible, fully developed for immediate construction with delivery in 2027, or ready for propulsion options evolving during the next decade.Designers Tanno Weeda and Chris Bottoms will both be available at the Feadship stand in Monaco and are ready to explain the technologies and explore the lifestyle potential. Feadship was formed as a group in 1949 as a marketing partnership between six Dutch shipyards, de Vries Lentch, Van de Stadt, Witsen & Vis, Akerboom, De Vries Scheepsbouw and Van Lent Shipyard, and De Voogt Naval Architects. Feadship is well-known as one of the Netherlands’ most elite yacht builders and delivers superyachts from 50–100+ meters in length.Credits: Feadship
